This is a pep talk I’ve given myself on multiple occasions when I’m feeling particularly lazy and fat. I sometimes need a swift kick in the butt to get myself moving and get some exercise. If you are similarly unmotivated, perhaps this will help you out.

So, what are you up to? Sitting on the couch again? Beer in hand, empty bag of chips next to you on the couch.

Looking down, do you see yourself taking up two whole cushions? You’re not even splayed out, or have your feet up, for Christ’s sake.

Maybe you should think about hitting the gym, or at least hitting the pavement for a walk. But really, what good is a walk going to do you right now?

Grab your iPod, put it in the exercise holder, throw on your earbuds and get out there! That’s right, how about a jog to the gym, or maybe a bike ride there.

OK, OK, let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. However, pack stuff up and get out there!

Get your BLOOD PUMPING! Get out there and lift some weights, drop some pounds. For God’s sake let the females have a chance to find you attractive.

Do you think that picture that was painted in the first paragraph was pretty? Is that what you want your life to be? It’s time to get things turned around!

In the history of man there have been two people, Men of Action and Men of Inaction. Now get out there and be a Man of Action!

Women love Men of Action, and they divorce and avoid Men of Inaction.

So get your fat-butt off the couch, throw away your bag of chips and HIT THE GYM! GET OUT THERE AND BE A MAN OF ACTION!!!
